Mental health nurses work with people suffering from various mental health conditions and also with their caregivers., The work involves in helping the patients in not only recovering from their illness, but also come to terms in order to lead a positive life. They often work in multidisciplinary teams, liaising with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and other health professionals., As a mental health nurse, he/she is required to deal with acute and chronic patients in a variety of settings which may range from community healthcare centers to hospital outpatient and inpatient departments.
