Alternatives to surgical management are discussed as well.  

This volume is a practical guide to otolaryngologists of all levels with an overview of the most common surgical procedures performed in a pediatric otolaryngology practice. It covers everything from tympanostomy tube placement to cochlear implantation, cleft lip and palate repair, and oncologic surgery. Newer surgical procedures such as balloon sinuplasty and airway management are introduced in this volume to give the reader an understanding of the advances made in pediatric otolaryngology as well.
