Job Description




• To analyse the medical text and find information on a particular topic (indexing terminology)
• Identifying important words and phrases in the text, noting where they occur and putting them in alphabetical order
• Devise suitable index terms to express the concepts of the medical text concisely and precisely
• Organize the index in a conventional manner that users can easily find what they are looking for
• Identifying the main topics and breaking them down into sections (Main-sub-sub)
• Check for cross-referencing of related topics


• Graduate (Science side will be preferred)

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• Extremely organized and able to work independently
• Follow in-house guidelines and maintain accuracy
• Must have good reading skills and subject knowledge
• Versatile and have interest in a variety of subjects.
• Should have knowledge about computerized sorting and formatting
